Welcome to Rebuild Haiti

Rebuild Haiti has a simple goal: to help the people of Haiti and motivate others to do the same. Through a variety of fundraisers throughout 2010, we will strive to raise as much money as possible to help with relief and rebuilding efforts.

We've created this website to facilitate communication among those willing to get involved. Please check back frequently -- better yet, sign up to be a follower.

On Saturday, January 23, we held our first organizational meeting at United Church of Cookeville. President Stan Rodriguez presented an overview of the group's mission, and fundraising ideas were discussed.

Also in attendance: Jerry DeVolder, Dale and Cynthia Wilson, Merritt Ireland, Becky Magura, Tom and Sharron Eckert, Bob and Anita Bay, Paige Pearson and Barb Myers.

If you're interested in getting involved in Rebuild Haiti, plan to attend our next meeting on Thursday, February 4, 6:00 p.m., United Church of Cookeville Fellowship Hall, 502 Gould Drive.
